Lost

Its a lost soul ashore, lost in wary breeze,
away from the lush, away from the rush,
away from the peaks, away from the creeks,
a pointless breath, a life lost in ease.

questions lie all around, only answers to procure,
whether death is a disease or an ultimate cure?
is life really so crude or its flawless and pure?
is the mortal, weak and crippled, on a mere tour?

A long lost mortal, in cobwebs and rabble,
in chaos who wobbles, amidst the babble
for a heavenly portal, to become immortal,
searching for peace as if its a test,
thoughts of calm after the quest,
thought of have found a final rest,
in the endless need of desire,
life will still burn like a live-wire.
