Lost

Its a lost soul ashore, lost in wary breeze,
away from the lush, away from the rush,
away from the peaks, away from the creeks,
a pointless breath, a life lost in ease.

questions lie all around, only answers to procure,
whether death is a disease or an ultimate cure?
is life really so crude or its flawless and pure?
is the mortal, weak and crippled, on a mere tour?

A long lost mortal, in cobwebs and rabble,
in chaos who wobbles, amidst the babble
for a heavenly portal, to become immortal,
searching for peace as if its a test,
thoughts of calm after the quest,
thought of have found a final rest,
in the endless need of desire,
life will still burn like a live-wire.

Childhood

I wondered how my world lied on a freaking ship,
Which sailed on beliefs and hero-worship,
And I sat alone by the windows of my imagination,
Listening to the echoes of the world wide open,
I wonder when I grew to an adult from a boy,
I wonder how I lost my fluffy small toy,
I don’t remember how the grief inside me took birth,
How I started counting pennies when they lost their worth.
I wish I could become a benevolent child,
Not so rough just pleasantly mild,
Not so rude but calm and true,
Dashing and vibrant but not so blue.
I wish Santa was real and fairies could fly by,
Or I could talk to the birds as Pooh would try,
I wish if wishes came true with a spell and a wand,
I wish to dream more, let me sleep for a while.

What's Life?

Life, our whole life, is just about asking questions not about knowing the answers. Human nature is to question and whether we are unconscious of not, we always come to realize that we are here on the earth. Really its like 'finite world' within 'infinite zone'.
We, the humans like to define our boundaries and then break them. Once known that Mt.Everest is the highest peak on land the passion to conquer the top was born among hikers and after several causalities, we finally witnessed victory. Actually its just one of a billion examples where ones definition of boundary has urged to some new discovery and the vast knowledge and science, that currently dwells on earth, has grown. But the point is
We know so much yet so little about us
Science can answer this question but a uncertainty prevails. The methods are limited and so are the sources. Somewhere the 'elementary' hints, that even 'Sherlock Holmes' would have cherished to find, are lost in the vast space of time. Or should I say that the facts are hidden and we are not understanding it.
Its just like we are like any British(who only understands English) trying to read a Chinese menu to anyone who understands only Hindi by the help of a French who is trying to explain him.
For those who didn't get it: The british is the human(who only believes in science) who is trying desperately to serve his hunger of knowledge by the trying to read the marks of the nature( chinese menu) and tries to expalin it to someone who believes it to be the mark of god(reffered as the indian fellow) and the french person is metaphor of Science.
"Is every moment of our lives built into us before we're born? If it is, does that make us less responsible for the things we do? Or is the responsibility built in too? After you hit the ball, do you stand and wait to see if it goes out, or do you start running and let nature take its course?"
After all what is life? If this elementary question didn't rattle your mind even once in your lifetime  then somewhere you have missed the basic question of them all : 'Why are you 'here'? I am sure I don't have the answers and I bet all of us would find something to distract themselves from the ultimate question.Lets be clear on this: "Its all written in codes and be sure that we don't know it."
By the way, I am hopeful.I hope someday some scientist would tell me that I am more than just a chemical composition with a blob of neurons in my head and some red fluid channel which runs throughout my body. Someday they would explain my emotions are not just hormones but something pleasant. Someday I might finally get the answer.
People talk a lot as if the most important thing in life is to always see things for what they really are. But everything we do, every plan we make, is kind of a lie. We're closing our eyes and pretending that the day won't ever come when we won't need to make any more plans. Hope is the biggest lie there is, and it is the best. We have to keep going as if it all mattered, or else we wouldn't keep going at all.
